Live Shot
A Live Shot allows a guest in our studio
to interact LIVE with another person
at some distant location from Boston,
for example New York City or perhaps London.
Live Shots usually occur in High Definition
but can also be originated in Standard Def.
These events use just a single camera and
always happen in our Canton HD studio.
The studio is equipped with a single
Sony PDW-700 HD camera and the
“News Set” is permanently lit with
low heat KinFlo instruments.
This studio can be “Ready for Air”
in less than 1 minute.
PixMix is on the LTN Network.
Our HD FIBER FEED CIRCUIT NUMBER is PIXM-BOS-E1.
